Answers

Sling & upholstery, answered.

Which sling fabric should I choose — Phifertex, Batyline or Sunbrella sling?
Phifertex is the hospitality default — woven vinyl, deep colour library, hard-wearing. Batyline is the designer choice — micro-perforated mesh, dimensionally stable, fast-drying. Sunbrella sling is solution-dyed acrylic for the longest UV life on exposed pool decks.
Can you re-cover my yacht helm and salon seats in Spradling or Silvertex?
Yes. We re-upholster yacht helm, salon banquette and exterior cushion seating in Spradling, Silvertex, Nautolex, Ultrafabric, UltraSuede, Holly Hunt, Cristiano Marrone and Maria Tully — measured on board, fabricated in our Singapore workshop.
What hardware do you use on boat covers and sling chairs?
YKK marine zippers, Tenara PTFE UV outdoor threads, The Dot marine snap buttons, Tenax fasteners, Pull-the-Dot fasteners and UV transparent plastic on boat plastic track for clears and enclosures.
Do you handle full yacht and superyacht refits?
Yes — full yacht and superyacht refits covering interior upholstery, yacht curtains, yacht carpet and floor runners, exterior cushions, boat canvas and boat covers. Programme-managed dockside in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
How long does a sling or upholstery refit take?
Typically 2–4 weeks from site templating to fitting, depending on fabric availability and volume. Single-piece sling repairs can often be turned around within a week.
