Answers

Choosing between systems.

What's the difference between Sunbrella and Stamoid?
Sunbrella is solution-dyed acrylic canvas — soft, breathable, ideal for cushions and shades. Stamoid is PVC-coated polyester — fully waterproof, scrubable, the right choice for boat covers and sofa protection covers.
Phifertex or Batyline for my sling chairs?
Phifertex is the hospitality default — deep pattern library, hard-wearing, easy-clean. Batyline is the designer mesh — micro-perforated, dimensionally stable, fast-drying. Pick Batyline for European designer frames and superyacht aft-decks; Phifertex for pool decks and club terraces.
Spradling vs Silvertex for yacht interior seating?
Both are Spradling. Choose Silvertex when antimicrobial performance matters — charter yachts, spa decks, wellness rooms. Choose standard Spradling marine vinyl ranges (SoftSide, Whisper) for everything else.
Which fabric handles Singapore's UV and marina salt best?
For soft canvas: Sunbrella. For sling: Phifertex or Batyline. For boat covers: Stamoid. For seating: Spradling or Silvertex. All six are specified daily in our Singapore atelier for equatorial UV and saltwater conditions.
